This full time Lead Scientist role supports a newly founded company creating products through engineered microorganisms. You will design biosynthesis workflows, operate lab-scale fermenters, and help establish experimental facilities. Relevant experience includes cloning, genome editing, microbial metabolite purification, and biological systems modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design experiments for natural product production and purification
- Operate fermenters and maintain seed cultures
- Prepare media and manage frozen microbial stocks
- Create technical documents and biological productivity models




- Support permits, equipment purchasing, and laboratory safety

Requirements:

- Master of Science, PhD, or similar qualification
- Background in biochemistry, molecular biology, or related fields
- Experience with bioprocessing, fermentation, cloning, or genome editing
