Turn operational risk data into insights as a Consultant at CIBC in Toronto, using Power BI, Tableau, and process analysis to support reporting.

Reporting to the Senior Director, Control Insights & Reporting, you will analyze operational risk data affecting the SBU. You will identify process optimization and automation opportunities, improve reporting for Senior Management, and support risk mitigation. The role involves data validation, reconciliation, visualization, and collaboration with Governance and Controls teams.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze operational risk metrics affecting the SBU
- Validate and reconcile data sources with partners
- Create processes and code for automated reporting
- Develop Power BI visualizations from raw data




- Maintain risk reporting for Governance and Controls

Requirements:

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint
- End to end Power BI development experience
- Experience designing dashboards and decision enablement tools
- Experience managing Tableau Desktop and Server platforms
- Ability to investigate complex problems and communicate detailed information
