The Chance

We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Edmonton team. You’ll work closely with our Recruitment Consultants to find and engage candidates, build talent pipelines and move qualified people through the recruitment process. If you enjoy research, starting conversations and turning a search into a strong shortlist, this role offers hands‑on experience across sourcing, market intelligence and the full recruitment lifecycle.

What You’ll Do

- Sourcing and Candidate Engagement Develop targeted sourcing strategies to find active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, databases, Boolean search, AI tools and other recruitment technology Reach out to prospective candidates, introduce opportunities and assess interest, availability and fit Build and maintain pipelines for current and upcoming searches Keep in touch with candidates throughout the process
- Recruitment Support Partner with Recruitment Consultants to understand client requirements and search priorities Review resumes, conduct preliminary screening and prepare candidate summaries for clients Coordinate interviews and candidate follow-up Keep candidate records accurate and current in our ATS/CRM
- Market Research Research industries, organizations, competitors and talent pools to map markets for specialized searches Share insights on candidate availability,



compensation expectations and hiring trends Track which sourcing approaches work and suggest ways to improve response rates, candidate experience and team efficiency

What You Bring

- 1 to 2 years of experience in recruitment, sourcing, research, sales, customer service, business development or a related field is an asset; agency or corporate talent acquisition experience is a plus
- A diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related field is preferred but not required
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office, LinkedIn and online research tools; familiarity with ATS/CRM platforms, Boolean search and AI tools is an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication, and comfort starting conversations with people you haven’t met
- Strong research, organizational and detail skills
- The ability to manage multiple searches and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Curiosity, persistence and a collaborative, solutions-focused approach
