This HIMP 2 position supports health care records and personal health information release. Candidates need a CCHIM-recognized Health Information Management diploma, CHIMA membership, and at least one year of relevant experience. Knowledge of Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act is required.

Key Responsibilities:

- Process personal health information release requests
- Navigate electronic medical record systems efficiently
- Prioritize requests according to relative urgency
- Communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
- Handle difficult situations and people appropriately

Requirements:

- Health Information Management diploma recognized by CCHIM
- Current CHIMA membership with ongoing CPE credits
- At least one year of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Ontario’s Personal Health Information Protection Act
- Eligibility to work in Canada
