Teach 3D animation and visual effects in person at the University of British Columbia, guiding teenagers through hands-on creative projects. Bring modeling, animation, and classroom facilitation skills to Circuit Stream’s summer program.

As a Circuit Stream instructor, you will deliver provided curriculum for students ages 13–17. Guide beginners through modeling, rigging, materials, texturing, lighting, animation, compositing, motion tracking, cameras, and rendering. Make technical concepts accessible while supporting progress toward a final animation or visual effects scene.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver provided 3D animation and visual effects curriculum
- Guide hands-on modeling, animation, lighting, compositing, and rendering
- Help students solve technical problems and build creative confidence




- Create inclusive classrooms with explicit behavior and safety expectations
- Supervise students and communicate progress or support concerns

Requirements:

- Professional, academic, freelance, or substantial related project experience
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or Masters/PhD in progress
- Strong communication and facilitation skills for beginners
- Youth teaching, tutoring, mentoring, coaching, or camp experience preferred
- Availability for all listed weekday summer course dates
