Lead EHS strategy and risk management with Aecon Foundations in Toronto, supporting heavy civil infrastructure and field operations across Canada.

Reporting to the Director, EHS, the Manager, EHS oversees Advisors and partners with senior management. The role strengthens Aecon’s EHS Management System, operational plans, controls, training, audits, and continuous improvement. It supports the Toronto/Etobicoke-based Aecon Foundations division.

Key Responsibilities:

- Implement corporate EHS strategies, goals, and objectives with operational leadership
- Oversee EHS Management System performance and operational management plans
- Build, coach, mentor, and develop a capable EHS team
- Lead safety training, orientations, audits, and incident investigations




- Analyze EHS performance information and communicate emerging risks

Requirements:

- Minimum eight years managing health and safety for heavy civil projects
- Occupational Health and Safety education or equivalent experience
- CRSP or equivalent certification
- Experience delivering EHS training programs to groups
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Canada
