On the Foundations team, you will build backend capabilities, reusable libraries, and patterns used across Quo. You will guide REST-to-GraphQL modernization while partnering with product teams. The role emphasizes production code, systems design, reliability, and scalable infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead technical work for Quo’s REST-to-GraphQL migration
- Shape GraphQL architecture through supergraphs and independently owned subgraphs
- Build reusable backend libraries and engineering patterns
- Design reliable, scalable systems for growing business usage
- Set technical direction through documents, reviews, pairing, and mentorship

Requirements:

- Deep daily experience writing TypeScript
- Production experience building and running GraphQL APIs
- Strong backend systems design and infrastructure understanding
- Experience building scalable, reliable systems
- Ability to influence technical direction across teams
