Apply tunneling expertise and heavy civil construction knowledge as a Tunnel Inspector on Parsons’ West Vaughan Tunnel project in Vaughan. This is a 100% onsite position.

Parsons seeks a Tunnel Inspector for its Critical Infrastructure team. You will inspect excavation and shaft activities, verify compliance with specifications and drawings, and support quality and safety oversight. The work requires experience with large shafts, tunnel excavation, contractor coordination, and independent testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect daily excavation and shaft activities against project requirements
- Verify tunneling work follows designs, specifications, and engineering plans
- Coordinate independent testing and field operations
- Enforce OSHA and site-specific safety standards




- Document deficiencies, progress, conditions, and corrective actions

Requirements:

- High School Diploma and Associate’s Degree, or equivalent experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline preferred
- Five or more years’ heavy construction experience
- Heavy civil experience involving large shafts and tunnel excavation
- Tunneling experience and full time onsite availability
