Operate MacLean bolters and install ground support at Agnico Eagle’s Upper Beaver Gold Project in Dobie, Ontario. Work a full-time 7/7 schedule underground.
Reporting to the Mine Supervisor, the Bolter Miner supports Mine Operations by stabilizing underground excavations. The work includes reading mine plans, monitoring ground conditions, and following approved installation methods. You will also support development mining, underground services, loading, and mucking activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate underground bolting equipment and install rock bolts and mesh
- Inspect and maintain bolting equipment for protected operations
- Assess excavations and install support according to plans
- Monitor ground conditions and report unsafe concerns
- Install services and support blasting and mucking activities
Requirements:
- Three to five years operating bolting equipment underground
- Knowledge of ground support systems and tunnel stability
- Ability to interpret mine plans and bolting specifications
- Basic Underground Hard Rock Common Core certification
- Experience with MacLean bolters and underground equipment
