Build TypeScript and Node.Js backend services full-time onsite in Toronto for BitGo’s retail mobile user experience. Design robust APIs supporting digital asset products.

As a Senior Software Engineer on BitGo’s Mobile team, you will build the first-time experience for retail users. You will develop API-first platform services using TypeScript, Node.Js, Express, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. The role includes ownership from inception through deployment, customer integration, and ongoing improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design scalable APIs, libraries, and backend services
- Own features from inception through deployment and integration
- Expose and document functionality for users and developers
- Collaborate with product managers, designers,



and engineers
- Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve performance

Requirements:
- Six or more years of backend development experience
- Strong TypeScript, Node.Js, Express, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB experience
- Robust RESTful API design experience
- Experience with microservices, testing, debugging, and Git
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline
