Reporting to the Vice President, Labour Relations, this Director provides functional leadership for labour relations strategies. The position partners with business leaders, legal counsel, HR partners, and senior operations leaders. Its focus includes negotiations, grievance management, dispute resolution, compliance, and strategic counsel supporting workforce plans. Key Responsibilities:





Lead labour relations for an assigned unionized colleague population Develop constructive relationships with labour union representatives Implement long and short term labour objectives Lead managers and specialists across labour relations functions Support negotiations, grievances, arbitrations, and tribunal proceedings Requirements:

Post secondary education in business, HR, or related discipline Preferred CHRM or CHRP designation Five to seven years progressive Human Resources leadership experience Focus on industrial or labour relations Advanced knowledge of employment and workplace legislation Shape Loblaw labour relations through strategic negotiations, cooperative leadership, legal partnership, and workforce-focused advice.
