Bring Canadian market structure expertise to Iress in a hybrid Market Structure Specialist role supporting trading technology. Advise clients and strengthen execution solutions.
As part of Iress’s Business Management team, you will support Execution Services products across discovery, delivery, production support, and continuous improvement. The role combines product expertise, client consulting, trading support, Smart Order Routing, and best-execution analysis. You will work with market-structure leaders and international colleagues while supporting Canadian and other key markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on Canadian markets, routing strategies, and equity order types
- Provide product liaison and Tier 3 production support
- Consult clients on marketplace features and best-execution practices
- Maintain exchange-fee data, scripts, and execution reports
- Support testing, change control, and production readiness
Requirements:
- Solid hands-on knowledge of Canadian market structure
- Understanding of equity trading and Smart Order Routing
- Clear communication with clients and international teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification
- Strong troubleshooting, reasoning, planning, and decision-making skills
