As Senior Counsel Corporate

Affairs, you will support LawZero’s global corporate governance, entity, intercompany, compliance, and risk matters. The Montréal-based non-profit advances safe-by-design AI research under Professor Yoshua Bengio. You will turn legal, tax, financial, and operational advice into transparent recommendations and practical next steps.

Key Responsibilities

- Support subsidiary governance, entity establishment, restructuring, and ongoing entity maintenance
- Coordinate intercompany agreements, funding flows, transfer pricing, tax, and cross-border activities
- Prepare Board materials, minutes, resolutions, and governance documents




- Build compliance and risk management policies, processes, and practices
- Manage external counsel mandates, delivery, and budgets across jurisdictions Requirements:
- Six to ten years of relevant corporate and cross-border governance experience
- Quebec Bar membership or eligibility to practise in Québec
- Experience supporting complex multinational structures and coordinating specialist counsel
- Ability to lead complex matters independently and prioritize effectively
- Clear communication in French and English Bring corporate governance, entity management, and bilingual communication expertise to LawZero’s expanding global AI safety organization.
