This Senior Mechanical

Designer position supports advanced analytical instrumentation within SCIEX’s Mechanical Hardware Design organization. You will independently execute designs while collaborating across scientific, engineering, and commercial teams. Your work spans functional prototypes, tolerance analysis, fabrication, inspection, and sustaining improvements.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with scientists and engineers on concepts and requirements
- Develop, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate functional prototypes
- Prepare tolerance, cost, documentation, and bill-of-materials packages




- Lead design execution from concept through commercialization and sustaining
- Apply Lean/Six Sigma principles across product development Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent field
- 10+ years of product development experience with electromechanical systems
- Foundation in stress analysis, thermodynamics, and fluid dynamics
- Knowledge of gas and vacuum systems
- Strong communication, teamwork, and cross-functional collaboration skills Bring senior electromechanical design, testing, troubleshooting, and cross-functional engineering experience to SCIEX’s Concord R&D; team.
