This Senior Network Security Specialist role focuses on firewall, perimeter, and workforce access capabilities supporting a Fortune 10 healthcare company. You will optimize secure internet gateways, web proxies, VPN technologies, and Network Access Control. You will also strengthen resilience and connectivity services through practical security designs.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and optimize firewall and perimeter security capabilities

Design secure workforce and device access solutions

Apply ZTNA, VPN, NAC, and identity-aware security controls

Evaluate vendor solutions, proofs of concept,



and emerging technologies

Improve resilience, regulatory alignment, and business continuity

Requirements

Seven or more years of skilled network engineering experience

Secure enterprise network implementation across hybrid-cloud environments

Hands-on enterprise firewall technology experience

Routing, switching, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, or SD-WAN experience

Experience with Palo Alto Networks, Zscaler, or HPE Aruba EdgeConnect
