Our client is one of Canada's largest privately owned heavy equipment dealers, representing leading manufacturers of construction, forestry, and agriculture equipment, on-highway trucks, and several other equipment lines.
Warranty is a significant driver of customer satisfaction and financial performance across every line the company sells. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warranty leader who wants to own a function end to end. You will lead the centralized warranty department across all lines of business, shape its policies and processes, and build a large team that is known for accuracy, speed, and strong supplier relationships. What You'll Be Doing

Reporting to the Vice President of Customer Support and Inventory Management, you will manage and develop the centralized warranty department for the entire organization, covering every equipment line the company distributes. Leading the Warranty Function Manage and develop all standard warranty operating procedures across the organization. Oversee the day-to-day activities of the warranty team. Identify where procedures need improvement, then develop and implement solutions. Assist with processing claims when needed. Maximizing Warranty Recovery Develop and deploy warranty recovery policies, processes, and procedures that maximize claims within supplier and vendor guidelines. Ensure warranty claims are submitted to suppliers accurately and on time. Manage and approve goodwill and warranty policy payments from suppliers. Manage warranty accounts receivable. Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and manufacturers.



Represent the company's interests in warranty and policy discussions with suppliers. Leading & Developing People Motivate and lead a large warranty team. Deliver warranty training to employees across the organization. Measuring Performance Develop metrics to track warranty performance and recovery. Maintain warranty and program reporting for leadership. What You Bring

The ideal candidate will offer:

Experience:
A strong understanding of warranty policies, procedures, and recovery. Proven experience motivating and leading a large team. Previous dealership experience is considered an asset. Knowledge of construction, forestry, agriculture equipment, or on-highway trucks is considered an asset. Technical

Skills:
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving ability. Solid computer skills, including the Microsoft Office Suite. A continuous improvement mindset that spots process gaps and fixes them. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Organized and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and timeliness. Relationship-driven, with the confidence to work effectively with suppliers.
