As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will manage projects and provide technical contributions for rehabilitation, upgrades, and current hydroelectric developments across Canada. Your work includes feasibility studies, engineering analysis, reports, designs, construction drawings, specifications, and structural inspections. Projects may also involve municipal, institutional, commercial, and industrial structures.

Key Responsibilities

Inspect concrete, steel, and timber structures

Assess remedial methods for hydroelectric facilities and water retaining structures





Design and analyze dams and hydroelectric facilities

Prepare reports, calculations, drawings, and specifications

Provide construction site support and review contractor submittals

Requirements

Minimum 10 years of civil or structural engineering experience

Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering

Registration or eligibility with EGBC

Proficiency with Mathcad and structural software

Valid driver’s license and security clearance eligibility
