This senior technical role covers custom machinery and special-purpose equipment. You will establish machine architecture, guide mechanical solutions, and support projects through manufacturing, integration, and commissioning. Collaboration spans engineering, controls, manufacturing, integration, project leads, and customers.
Key Responsibilities
Lead mechanical design of complex automation systems and custom machinery
Develop concepts for assembly, inspection, testing, and packaging
Perform analysis covering dynamics, structure, motion, and manufacturability
Lead design reviews against safety, quality,
and customer requirements
Mentor designers and support troubleshooting during integration
Requirements
Experienced mechanical designer with industrial automation background
Solid custom machinery and special-purpose equipment experience
SolidWorks capability for complex mechanical system design
Knowledge of robotics, servo motion, and pneumatics
Ability to provide technical guidance across project teams
Apply senior mechanical design expertise to automation concepts, complex machinery, SolidWorks, and commissioning support.
