Investigate neurotype measurement at McGill University’s Montreal Neuro site through psychometrics, reliability analysis, and large-scale cognitive data.

This full time Postdoctoral Fellow works with Professor Blake Richards on a Schmidt Sciences Polymath Award-supported research initiative. The Citadel of the Mind seeks continuous, high-dimensional models of human neurotypes, using game-based testing and conversational artificial intelligence. You will establish interpretable cognitive measures and evaluate their performance across contexts.

Key Responsibilities:

- Define intended constructs and limits for established assessments
- Execute pilots gathering baseline multimodal participant data
- Test measurement quality, reliability, and validity reproducibly
- Study cultural, device,

and gameplay influences on measures
- Define model targets with machine learning collaborators

Requirements:

- PhD in cognitive neuroscience, psychology, or closely related discipline
- Psychometrics and experimental design expertise
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and reproducible research
- Experience coding in Python
- Preferred expertise in item response theory or adaptive testing

Use psychometrics, experimental design, and statistical analysis to advance interpretable cognitive measurement through McGill’s Citadel of the Mind.
