You will guide donor identification, suitability assessment, death determination, family approach and consent, and medical donor management. The work supports organ yield for recipient transplantation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct donor clinical assessments, evaluations, and medical management
- Establish team-oriented family approach plans with health care providers
- Communicate donation updates with families and health care teams




- Request tests and procedures supporting medical suitability determinations
- Negotiate operating room resources for organ recovery surgery

Requirements:

- Nursing Diploma or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum three years critical care experience or equivalent
