Support seniors as a Health Care Aide at Lake Country Lodge, providing compassionate daily living assistance during a temporary daytime assignment.

Reporting to an Associate Director of Care, you will support residents in a long term care community. The position emphasizes relationships, dignity, respect, and comfort while assisting with daily living, resident services, and wellbeing. You will work onsite full time for three months.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming according to care plans
- Encourage use of glasses, hearing aids, and sensory supports
- Maintain access to canes, walkers, and call bells
- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, oral, and dental support




- Encourage participation in individual and group resident programs

Requirements:

- Completion of an approved college Health Care Aide program
- Compassion and dedication to supporting seniors meaningfully
- Proficiency in straightforward treatment procedures and bedside care
- Tact and diplomacy with seniors, families, and visitors
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check and Canadian work eligibility
