This Biology Teacher assignment includes one or two SBI4U sections within LCS's independent boarding and day school community. You will engage students through thoughtful planning, problem-solving, and digital integration. Regular communication with students, parents, and colleagues supports progress and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver SBI4U Biology instruction aligned with Ontario curriculum
- Design cutting-edge, engaging learning activities and assessments
- Use provided laptops and technology to enhance learning
- Report student progress regularly to families and colleagues
- Contribute to strong student-faculty relationships and community priorities
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Education and OCT certification preferred
- Undergraduate Biology specialization preferred
- Science or biology teaching experience is an asset
- Demonstrated information technology integration proficiency
- Ability to engage students and help them succeed
