Support endoscopy patients at Toronto Western Hospital using strong assessment skills and procedural nursing knowledge. This is permanent part-time work in Toronto.

UHN seeks a Registered Practical Nurse for the Endoscopy, Bronchoscopy and Motility Unit. The position provides pre- and post-procedural care within the RPN scope. You will support gastrointestinal and respirology procedures, including sedation practices, while maintaining patient safety. The schedule includes weekday day shifts, up to 24 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess and observe patients throughout procedural care
- Provide secure pre- and post-procedural nursing care
- Support endoscopy cases requiring two nurses
- Prepare rooms and complete procedural turnover
- Respond appropriately to procedural complications

Requirements:

- Hold a current College of Nurses of Ontario certificate
- Maintain membership in good standing
- Complete Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
- Understand gastrointestinal and respirology procedures
- Meet physical demands, including prolonged standing and wearing lead aprons
