This Senior Software Developer joins Smile Labs within the Product Department, developing AI strategy and components for customer-specific requirements. The role combines architecture, coding, prototyping, and technical guidance across an Agile delivery model with two-week sprints. Your contributions build on Smile’s FHIR-based data liberation platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design architectures, approaches, milestones, and project solutions
- Implement AI/ML components with the development team
- Prototype emerging technologies and configure external components
- Review code through pairing and collaborative analysis




- Coach teams around priorities, deadlines, backlogs, and functionality

Requirements:

- Proven end-to-end architecture experience for complex software projects
- Six or more years in architecture, full-stack development, or AI engineering
- Knowledge of MCP, model ensembles, and fine-tuning techniques
- Experience with Neo4j or other knowledge graph databases
- Experience mentoring developers and brainstorming technical architectures
