As an Accountant in Brookfield's Business Services Group, you will maintain ledgers, journals, registers, and related financial records. You will collaborate with the Accounting team and support the Senior Accountant. The work covers financial close, reconciliations, reporting packages, fixed assets, audits, and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Facilitate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes
- Prepare journal entries and general ledger reconciliations
- Analyze intercompany balances and chargeback issues




- Maintain fixed asset schedules and account for disposals
- Support budgets, forecasts, audits, and internal controls

Requirements:

- Two or more years of full-cycle accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent relevant experience
- CPA designation or CFE scheduled within twelve months
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- Knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP is an asset
