Support instructional, behavioural, and therapeutic programs as an Educational Assistant in a 35-hour-per-week long-term assignment. Contribute to student progress.

This Educational Assistant position combines classroom support with personal care, medication administration, and student supervision. Responsibilities include collecting progress data, participating in case conferences, and assisting occupational, physio, speech, and other programs. Work follows assigned Board policies and directives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collect data tracking student progress and behaviour
- Assist occupational, physio, speech, and therapy programs
- Administer assigned medication according to Board regulations
- Participate in I.P.R.C. meetings and case conferences




- Assist with student transportation loading and monitoring

Requirements:

- O.S.S.D. plus two years of specialized training
- Knowledge of student-support strategies and experience
- Ability to perform physical intervention strategies when required
- Ability to lift and position students
- Co-operative communication with students, parents, and agencies
