Work with residents at AgeCare Dawson in Chestermere as a Health Care Aide, supporting mobility, personal care, and meaningful daily activities.

This part time regular position has a 0.40 FTE and supports resident care under Licensed Practical Nurse supervision. You will assist with movement, meals, personal hygiene, routine procedures, and access to social and therapy functions. The work contributes to AgeCare's home-like communities, where residents receive care with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist walking with walkers, wheelchairs, and positioning chairs
- Always use transfer belts during resident movement
- Support bathing with strict water temperature procedures
- Assist feeding during nourishment and snack times
- Accompany residents to internal social and therapy functions

Requirements:

- Personal Care Aide or Health Care Aide certificate
- Active CLHA registration required
- Fluent written and spoken English
- One year related continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education is an asset
