Lead municipal policy planning and land development projects at WSP, applying Ontario planning legislation and project management expertise.

As a Senior Planner and Project Manager, you will guide complex planning work from initiation through Council adoption. You will establish land use visions, integrate technical studies, and create defensible policies and regulations. The position serves rural and growing urban communities across eastern and northern Ontario.

Key Responsibilities

Lead complex policy planning projects through Council adoption

Develop land use visions, policies, regulations, and implementation strategies

Manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate technical studies

Control project scope, schedule, budget, and quality

Lead public consultation and stakeholder meetings

Requirements

University degree in Planning

Registered Skilled Planner in Ontario

Minimum 10 years of progressive municipal or consulting experience

Experience preparing land use policy and regulatory frameworks

Understanding of Ontario planning legislation and approvals processes
