Support resident comfort at Valleyview Home through housekeeping, laundry operations, and respectful communication during 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. shifts.

This temporary, part-time Housekeeping and Laundry Worker position serves residents under the Environmental Supervisor's general supervision. You will clean resident rooms, dining areas, and washrooms while washing, sorting, folding, and organizing clothing and linens. The work also includes resident clothing inventories, labeling, lost-article tracing, confidentiality, and fire and evacuation procedures. Experience in similar geriatric duties is an asset.

Key Responsibilities:

- Clean, dust, and wet mop resident rooms and washrooms
- Clean dining rooms and serveries after meals
- Wash, dry, sort, fold, and rack clothing
- Maintain clothing inventories, labels,



and lost-article tracing
- Communicate respectfully while protecting resident information

Requirements:

- Secondary School graduation diploma or equivalent education and experience
- Willingness to prioritize resident comfort, happiness, and well-being
- Experience in similar geriatric duties is an asset
- Successful vulnerable sector police record check
- Satisfactory TB documentation and compliance with safety requirements
