Apply hematology expertise at UHN as a Medical Laboratory Technologist working predominantly nights across variable 24/7 shifts. Use coagulation knowledge daily.

This permanent full time position supports UHN's Laboratory Medicine Program, including Core and Rapid Response Laboratories. You will operate, troubleshoot, and maintain laboratory equipment while documenting procedures and test results. The work includes teaching, safety, and quality improvement programs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate laboratory equipment and troubleshoot performance issues
- Maintain cleanliness of equipment and laboratory work areas
- Prepare written and electronic procedure and test reports
- Participate in teaching, safety, and quality programs
- Follow hospital and departmental policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Complete a recognized Medical Laboratory Technologist program
- Hold current College registration with the CMLTO
- Know routine hematology and coagulation techniques
- Demonstrate problem recognition and problem-solving skills
- Communicate effectively and manage priorities
