Support justice-involved members through recovery programming as a Casual Recovery Coach based in Fort Saskatchewan with mixed evenings and weekends.

Beccarian Correctional Care delivers therapeutic and recovery-oriented programs across correctional settings. In this position, you will help members engage with community responsibilities, recreation, group sessions, and recovery meetings. Your support contributes to rehabilitation, relapse prevention, and a healthy community culture grounded in accountability.

Key Responsibilities:

- Encourage members and provide supportive evening care
- Engage members in group, therapy, and recreation activities
- Co-lead recovery meetings including AA, NA, and SMART Recovery
- Report member concerns and progress for risk planning




- Promote mutual support within the therapeutic community

Requirements:

- Caregiving or support experience in related settings
- Communication skills for diverse member populations
- Foundational knowledge of mental health and substance use
- Correctional or justice-involved experience considered an asset
- Required criminal record and facility access clearances
