The Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese seeks a full-time Grade 3 teacher from January 2027 through June 2027. The position may continue in future years and serves students within a culturally diverse, faith-based elementary school. Work collaboratively with teachers, para-educators, parents, administration, and support staff while supporting students' academic, emotional, physical, and spiritual development.

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach Grade 3 students at St. James and St. Ann's
- Collaborate with teachers, para-educators, parents, and administration




- Maintain confidential student records and professional boundaries
- Apply effective classroom and time management skills
- Contribute to extracurricular opportunities when possible

Requirements:

- Valid British Columbia teaching certificate
- Experience working with children, youth, and families
- Knowledge of current educational practices
- Positive, collaborative communication with school staff
- Sacrament preparation experience considered an asset
