Drive property accounting excellence at JLL with advanced Excel, reconciliations, and financial reporting across assigned commercial real estate properties. This hybrid position is based in Calgary or Toronto.

As a Senior Property Accountant, you will manage monthly accounting activities, capital budget tracking, and reporting. The work includes operating budgets, forecasts, variance analysis, depreciation, audits, and financial controls. You will collaborate with joint owners, operations, treasury, property services, and property financial administration.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare monthly and year-end reconciliations, accruals, and adjustment entries
- Issue common area certificates and annual financial statements
- Develop operating budgets, forecasts, and capital budget tracking




- Analyze budget variances and calculate depreciation costs
- Prepare external audit documentation and participate in controls reviews

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent
- Three to five years of general accounting experience
- CPA designation obtained or currently in progress
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, particularly Excel
- Solid analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
