About the Role

Our client, a distinguished executive search firm with a presence in Kimberley, Northern Cape, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Executive Search Consultant.

This role is dedicated to conducting high-impact searches for senior leadership and board-level positions across a range of industries, with a particular focus on clients within the resource and public sectors relevant to the Northern Cape. The successful candidate will excel at building trusted relationships with senior executives and C-suite leaders, developing sophisticated search strategies, and delivering exceptional results.

This position offers a Hybrid work model, enabling a blend of focused remote work and essential in-office collaboration at our Kimberley office. We are looking for a strategic thinker with impeccable professional judgment, a deep understanding of executive talent dynamics, and a proven ability to navigate complex organizational landscapes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage executive search assignments from initial client briefing through to successful candidate placement.
- Develop and execute targeted search strategies, including comprehensive market mapping and proactive candidate engagement.
- Conduct rigorous candidate assessments, including in-depth interviews, reference checks, and competency evaluations.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with senior executives, industry leaders, and key decision-makers.
- Provide strategic advice to clients on executive talent acquisition, succession planning, and market trends.
- Ensure the highest levels of confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism in all client and candidate interactions.
- Contribute to business development efforts,



identifying new opportunities and expanding the firm's client portfolio.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants, sharing expertise and fostering a team-oriented team environment.
- Stay abreast of industry developments and best practices in executive search.

Requirements

- A Master's degree in Business, Psychology, Human Resources, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 7 years of proven experience in executive search, retained search, or senior-level talent acquisition.
- Demonstrated success in conducting searches for C-suite, VP, Director, and Board-level positions.
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment methodologies, research techniques, and candidate assessment tools.
- Exceptional networking, communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
- High level of business acumen and understanding of various industry sectors, particularly those relevant to the Northern Cape.
- Discretion, resilience, and a strong ethical framework.
- Ability to manage multiple complex search projects simultaneously in a Hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in using advanced search tools and CRM systems.
