About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Industrial Engineer with a Quality Focus to join their team in Kimberley. This role is critical for enhancing product quality and ensuring consistency throughout the manufacturing process by applying industrial engineering principles. You will analyze production lines, identify sources of defects, implement quality control measures, and collaborate with quality assurance teams to uphold the highest standards. Key Responsibilities

- Analyze manufacturing processes to identify and eliminate sources of defects and variations.
- Develop and implement quality control plans and statistical process control (SPC) methodologies.
- Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to establish and maintain product quality standards.
- Design and conduct experiments to optimize processes for improved quality and yield.
- Develop training materials and conduct training for personnel on quality procedures and best practices.




- Monitor quality performance metrics and report on trends and corrective actions.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong emphasis on quality assurance or control.
- Proven experience with Six Sigma principles and methodologies (certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of statistical analysis and quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in quality control software and data analysis tools.
