As a Cook reporting to the Culinary Manager, you will prepare meals according to menus, recipes, and production charts. You will handle therapeutic and specialty diets, make recorded substitutions, and maintain proper food handling practices. This position supports food delivery and scheduled meal service for a senior living community.

Key Responsibilities:

- Follow daily composite menus and standardized recipes
- Prepare and serve meals attractively and properly
- Make and document necessary menu substitutions
- Maintain proper food handling techniques during preparation
- Participate in special occasion and theme meal planning

Requirements:

- Food Handler's Certificate required
- Experience preparing food in large quantities
- Knowledge of Provincial Food Premises Regulation
- Experience with special and therapeutic diets
- Red Seal Certificate preferred
