Temporary Accounting Assistant needed in Vancouver for QuickBooks Online, invoice processing, vendor payments, and accurate accounts payable support.

STRIVE is recruiting an Accounting Assistant to support a client's accounting and finance team. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this temporary position requires accounts payable experience, basic accounting knowledge, and strong attention to detail. You will manage invoices, payments, reconciliations, and approvals while coordinating with vendors and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:

- Monitor and process invoices through the accounts payable inbox
- Enter invoices, receipts, and bills into QuickBooks
- Process vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements
- Reconcile vendor statements and investigate discrepancies




- Coordinate invoice approvals with project managers

Requirements:

- Accounting, Finance, or related diploma or certificate
- Minimum one year of accounting or accounts payable experience
- Hands-on QuickBooks Online experience is required
- Robust organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to manage priorities, deadlines, and vendor communications
