Support long term care services as a Social Worker I in Corner Brook, using social work expertise in an institutional health care setting.
Western Zone is recruiting for CBL Social Work at Corner Brook Long Term Care Home. This temporary full time position runs until 31 March 2027, with possibility of extension. The role is scheduled for 75 hours, eight-hour days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide social work services within long term care
- Support residents in an institutional health care setting
- Apply knowledge of long term care practice
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Social Work degree
- Registration with Newfoundland and Labrador Association of Social Workers
- Social work experience in institutional-based health care preferred
- Knowledge of long term care preferred
