The Espanola & Area Family Health Team is an interdisciplinary group of allied healthprofessionals promoting improved health ofindividuals in and around Espanola by providing increased access to a range of health careservices. The successful candidate will have familiaritywith the health issues of the community and will work collaboratively with other primary careproviders to improve the health of the patients'accessing the services through the Family Health Team. This will be accomplished through activeemployee involvement, continuous training, anddevelopment, as well as a commitment tocompliance with policies, procedures, andstandards.

Responsibilities
- Provide primary care within the scope of practice of the RPN, including taking vitalsigns of patients, removing sutures, givingassisting with minor office procedures.
- Aid with system navigation and clinic orientation/registration for new patientsand existing patients being recalled orfollowed up by their provider(s).
- Assess patients to identify appropriate nursing interventions.
- Delivers immunization programs, andadministers medications and treatments asprescribed by a Physician.
Qualifications
- Completion of RPN/RNA diploma program with current registration in valuable standingwith the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the role of interdisciplinary health care providers aspartof a collaborative team.
- Knowledge and understanding of theCanadian Triage and Acuity Scale.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload.
- Ability to provide attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Fluency in English and French is an asset.

- This position offers a competitive compensation package including pay inlieu of vacation and advantages. The wage is$26.306 – $29.719 per hour based onexperience.
