Support homeless adults at Pauline Shelter in Abbotsford as a full time temporary Shelter Case Worker focused on crisis support and referrals.

Lookout Housing and Health Society seeks a Shelter Case Worker reporting to the Site Manager. You will provide direct support within drop-in and peer support services for adults facing homelessness, addictions, and mental health challenges. The position runs Monday through Friday, from 0800 to 1600 hours.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support, supervise, and assist homeless adults facing multiple barriers
- Assess needs and develop flexible plans addressing basic requirements
- Refer guests to community services following crisis support
- Complete required records and maintain statistical data




- Contribute to shelter health and safety responsibilities

Requirements:

- Related diploma or certificate, or Grade 12 with two years' experience
- Familiarity with addiction, mental health, welfare, and harm reduction resources
- Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certificate
- Strong case planning, communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Clearance and respirator fit testing
