As Senior Legal

Counsel, you will guide business units on emerging technologies, outsourcing, and third-party risk. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements while balancing legal requirements, enterprise strategy, and risk tolerance. The position suits an experienced lawyer serving technology and financial services businesses.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide actionable advice on business portfolios and emerging technologies Draft and negotiate diverse technology and commercial contracts Operationalize contracts across complex multi-vendor environments Identify and resolve associated legal issues proactively Mentor junior lawyers and develop internal precedents Requirements: Law degree and good-standing Law Society of Ontario membership At least eight years of post-call legal experience Experience in corporate legal departments and law firms Eligibility to work full time for Interac in Canada Financial services or technology vendor experience preferred Bring business judgment, technology contracting expertise, and financial services knowledge to Interac’s trusted legal team in Canada.
