As Senior Legal Counsel, you will advise business units on strategic legal matters in a complex technology workplace. You will draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements while balancing legal requirements, business values, risk tolerance, and enterprise strategy. The work includes technology contracting, outsourcing, and third-party risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide strategic legal advice on key business portfolios
- Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial contracts
- Advise on contract operations in multi-vendor environments




- Identify and resolve associated legal issues proactively
- Mentor junior lawyers and develop legal precedents

Requirements:
- Law degree and Ontario Law Society membership
- At least eight years of post-call legal experience
- Experience in corporate legal departments and law firms
- Eligibility to work full-time for Interac in Canada
- Privacy, cybersecurity, CASL, or financial services knowledge preferred
