As a Trades 2 Bricklayer, you will support UBC Building Operations through skilled construction, maintenance, and repair work. Your assignments include brick, stone, concrete, and tile, plus structural and non-structural walls, fireplaces, furnaces, kilns, and ornamental details. You will determine work methods using trade knowledge and approved procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair and construct brick, stone, concrete, and tile features
- Request materials and equipment for assigned work
- Prepare estimates and produce inspection reports
- Apply caulking compounds and masonry sealers
- Perform emergency call-outs and related qualified duties

Requirements:

- Journeyperson trade certification as a Bricklayer
- Valid British Columbia driver's licence
- Minimum five years of related experience
- Working knowledge of safety regulations and building codes
- Ability to interpret specifications and work from scaffolding
