Within Laboratory Services, this temporary full time position supports the Biochemistry Laboratory through routine and specialized body-fluid analysis. The role includes specimen identification, sample processing, report review, data entry, and clinical guidance. Shifts rotate across days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine and specialized biochemistry analysis of body fluids
- Maintain specimen integrity through proper patient identification
- Handle, sort, and store laboratory samples
- Review patient reports and enter laboratory data




- Provide guidance to students, nursing, and medical staff

Requirements:

- Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology or relevant degree
- Graduation from a recognized accredited educational program
- Current CSMLS certification as general or applicable subject MLT
- Current registration with the NL Council of Health Professionals
- Satisfactory record of work performance
