Comfort Union is a technology driven, highly supported operation with the infrastructure and culture that lets good techs do their best work.

We’re also a small, family-run business so its personal here in a good way: warm, welcoming, and built on respect. Our internal motto is basically make work feel like non-work and because we spend our days in people’s homes, we try to make our work feel like home too.

Now the best part: what this can do for you.

What we offer you (beyond a paycheque)

This role is a launchpad. If you’ve got talent and you care about doing things right, you’ll have room to grow fast.

- Real upward mobility: grow from service tech to senior tech, lead tech, field supervisor, operations manager, or head of operations as we scale
- A career path that isn’t trapped in the van: as you grow, you can move into leadership, training, estimating support, dispatch/coordination, or office and remote roles (depending on your strengths)
- Strong compensation: hourly pay above industry average, plus performance bonuses and commission opportunities tied to doing the right work the right way
- Flexibility and respect for your life: scheduling that’s built to be efficient and fair, not designed to grind you into dust

The kind of tech who thrives here If you’re a tech who’s loved by friends and family, stays calm when the job gets messy, and shows up with a confident, professional vibe that brings a smile and instantly wins trust, you’ll fit right in. Not loud. Not pushy. Just sharp, steady, and genuinely helpful.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll run service calls across Calgary and be trusted to diagnose, advise, and execute at a high level:

- Service, diagnose, and repair furnaces,

and hydronic systems (boilers, combis, fan coils, pumps, zone controls, etc.)
- Provide clear options with real homeowner education so customers understand the “why,” not just the price
- Recommend the right path, including replacement options when it truly delivers better comfort and long-term value
- Confidently present robust solutions like hydronics or furnace + water heater upgrades when appropriate
- Work closely with our CSR, dispatcher, and estimator to coordinate leads and help close opportunities
- Build thorough reports in ServiceTitan with photos, notes, findings, and next steps
- Keep communication tight so the office and customer always know what’s happening
