Role: Specialist, ServiceNow ITOM (BTS) Location: Saskatoon, SK – 40 hours per week | Remote candidates considered (must reside in Canada) Duration: December 1, 2026 – November 30, 2027 Experience: Intermediate – Minimum 5 years Cameco is seeking an Intermediate ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) Specialist to support the planning, design, and implementation of ServiceNow ITOM capabilities, with a focus on Discovery, Service Mapping, and CSDM 5.0. This hands-on project role requires strong technical knowledge, combined with the ability to facilitate workshops, develop implementation approaches, and collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities Plan and facilitate technical planning, requirements, and design workshops. Translate business and technical requirements into practical solution designs and implementation plans. Configure and implement ServiceNow Discovery, MID Servers, credentials, schedules, and related ITOM capabilities.

Support the implementation and improvement of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), including CI relationships, Identification and Reconciliation Engine (IRE), CSDM, and data quality. Work with server, network, security, cloud, and application teams to identify and resolve technical dependencies. Configure CMDB Health Dashboards and CI Class Manager.

Troubleshoot

Discovery,



connectivity, credential, and configuration issues. Develop testing, validation, and deployment approaches. Document technical solutions and provide knowledge transfer to operational teams. Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement throughout implementation.

Required Skills and Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience implementing ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery, and CMDB solutions.

Experience leading or facilitating technical workshops. Hands-on experience modifying out-of-the-box (OOB) Discovery Patterns. Robust understanding of MID Servers, Discovery, Service Mapping, IRE, and CSDM.

Good infrastructure knowledge across Windows/Linux, networking, VMware, and cloud environments. Strong troubleshooting, solution design, and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams and translate requirements into effective ServiceNow solutions.

ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Certified Implementation Specialist – Data Foundations (CMDB & CSDM) (CIS-DF) Certified Implementation Specialist – Discovery (CIS-Discovery) Preferred Certifications Additional ServiceNow ITOM, Discovery, Service Mapping, or CMDB certifications.
