Shipper/Receiver/Material Handler - Day shift

Established in 1990, Label Design Ltd. is a Guelph based SQF certified manufacturer of pressure sensitive labels. We are looking for an experienced Shipper/Receiver/Material Handler with a strong work ethic to join our team.

Primary responsibilities will include:

· Receive shipments; verify quantities against packing slips and purchase orders; inspect for damage or discrepancies.

· Record and put away received materials accurately.

· Pick, prepare, pack, label, wrap, and stage customer orders for safe, accurate shipment.

· Prepare shipping documents and maintain accurate records

· Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments

· Operate forklifts, reach truck, counterbalance and pump carts.

· Maintain organized inventory and storage areas

· Keep the shipping/receiving area clean and protected, follow company procedures

Requirements

· Previous shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.





· Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.

· Robust organization, accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail.

· Comfort with computers and learning inventory/ERP system.

· Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple shipments, and communicate with coworkers, supervisors, carriers, and drivers.

· Comfort working in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.

· Knowledge of weights, dimensions, and pallet preparation.

Assets

· Forklift experience is an asset.

· Comfort with computers

· Strong organizational skills

Days 7am-4pm Mon - Thursday and 7am 1:30pm Friday. No rotation.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
