W.R. Davis Engineering Limited (Davis) is a dynamic mid-sized company specializing in the design of infrared (IR) signature solutions for both naval and aerospace platforms. We're looking for a motivated Shop Labourer to join our Manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and wants to develop new skills in a modern manufacturing environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Shop Labourer, you will support our manufacturing team by:

- Assisting with the forming and shaping of metal using rollers and other equipment
- Supporting the fitting and assembly of precision metal components
- Assisting welders and fabricators as required
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Operating a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Performing passivation of completed metal fixtures
- Following company quality standards and health and safety procedures
- Performing other related duties as required

What You’ll Bring We’re looking for someone who has:

- Familiarity with metalworking tasks such as grinding, sanding, and drilling
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail




- Experience using common hand and power tools in a manufacturing environment
- The physical ability to safely lift up to 50–75 lbs when required
- A strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills
- The ability to obtain and maintain a Controlled Goods Program clearance
- A commitment to workplace safety and quality
- Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
