Manulife is hiring a Business Development Consultant (Internal Wholesaler) for Guaranteed Wealth Solutions. This remote role supports sales growth by engaging financial advisors and field staff on guaranteed wealth products, including segregated funds, annuities, and GICs. The position is described as an existing vacancy and includes training for potential future field sales roles.

Responsibilities

- Make at least 60 outbound calls per day to develop and maintain relationships with financial advisors.
- Use consultative, question-based selling to understand advisors' practices and recommend relevant solutions.
- Help advisors position segregated funds, annuities, and GICs for clients' savings, protection, and retirement income needs.
- Execute sales campaigns, identify prospects, and develop sales plans.
- Use Salesforce to maintain advisor profiles,



track sales activity, and share leads and ideas with colleagues.

Qualifications

- At least two years of financial services, wealth, investments, insurance, or sales experience.
- Demonstrated success in proactive sales and cold calling.
- College or university degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge of segregated funds, annuities, GICs, and retirement income planning is preferred.
- Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and intermediate Excel skills are preferred. Bilingualism is also preferred.

Compensation

Expected compensation is CAD $73,500–$103,500 per year, including salary and sales incentives. Actual compensation may vary by location and job-related factors.
