As Banquet Second Cook, you will assist event food preparation and strengthen culinary techniques within a hotel kitchen. The position includes plated meals, buffet service, mise en place, production setup, and teamwork during service. This temporary contract is scheduled from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain knowledge of banquet menus and ingredients
- Prepare mise en place for scheduled events
- Assist production setup for banquet service
- Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards
Requirements:
- Minimum two years developing banquet cooking techniques
- Ability to manage preparation tasks independently
- Ability to support event timelines in high-volume service
- Safe handling of kitchen equipment
